Saint Peter is mentioned a whopping 187 times in the New Testament. From the moment he first encountered Jesus the Nazarene while fishing on the Sea of Galilee, until the moment he was crucified upside down, Peter was a faithful follower of the Lord; but that's not to say he was without fault.
So many of the most powerful moments and lessons from the Bible involve Peter. He was a bold, brash, and stubborn disciple who we have much to be thankful for, and to learn from.
